Can I use daily?

Yes. Our products are highly nourishing so please use them as frequently times as you wish.

What do our signature blends smell like?

Fundamentally different than anything you have ever tried. Produced by combining Australia's finest essential oils with a traditional fragrance architecture of a HEAD NOTE, HEART NOTE, and BASE NOTE.

How to use?

To cleanse the body of sweat, dirt & impurities - Massage onto your torso, work into a luxurious lite lather then rinse to leave you feeling fresh, clean, and soft to the touch.

How do I get the most lather?

Our clean formulas lather lightly without stripping the natural sebum oil barrier. We suggest using a natural sponge or loofah for maximum lather. You'll feel the difference!

Did you know: Big suds are typically found in artificial products with sulfates, parabens, SLS and foaming agents.

Don't let those big suds fool you – you really want smaller, lighter suds because they are the sign of the highest quality, natural ingredients.

What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is both an art and a science. It is the process of stimulating smell receptors in the nose that send messages through the nervous system to the limbic system — the part of the brain that controls emotions.

Getting a smell of your favourite aroma is arguably one of the most pleasurable experiences we get to have. It can instantly flood you with —happiness, comfort, utter joy.

Sensitive skin?

Our products are formulated with organic and natural natural ingredients, making them ideal for sensitive skin.

Made in Australia from brown seaweed + 21plant & flower oils rich in vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, antioxidants, and natural AHAs to nourish your skin.

Most of our treasures are certified natural by COMOS (Cosmetic Organic and Natural Standard) 2022.

Please keep wash away from eyes at all times - Those concerned about skin sensitivity please conduct a small test patch before use over the whole body.

Suitable for children?

Children may have sensitivities that you are not yet aware of – This is why we recommend that you should conduct a test patch on their skin 24 hours before using it all over their body.

Our washes are designed for the body and hands, they should always be kept away from the eyes.

A treatment for psoriasis or body/back acne?

Whilst we receive very positive feedback from our customers regarding the quality of our products. We can not make any specific claims or promises because each customer's outcome is unique to them. Please do not use our wash as an alternative to medication or medical advice - If you are experiencing problems with your skin please seek medical advice without delay.

How long can one bottle last?

Many customers inform us that one bottle can last them 2-3 months of luxurious bathing experiences.

You will see a little will go a very long way because our ingredients are highly concentrated.

What are your natural fragrances made from?

Plants.

Inside many plants - hidden within their seeds, bark flowers and roots - are highly concentrated and aromatic essential oils. When released as a soothing vapour they can stimulate the mind and energise your body. 

Sustainably Sourced & Organic

All of our ingredients are sustainably sourced, and many are certified organic. This is better for you and it enhances the health of the soil, plants, animals, and the planet as a whole.

By sourcing quality ingredients, we are also supporting local farmers and businesses, strengthening our community and economy.

Our wash and pure essential oils are plant-based and 100% free from artificial nasties.

Our clean natural ingredients are formulated to cleanse and condition your skin for a healthy glow. We carefully select all of our ingredients to be safe for you, your family, the environment, and our waterways.

What to do with the packaging at its end of life?

What people do with their rubbish is important to us all.


Bottle: Empty the wash bottle, rinse the insides, and place it into the recycling bin to give it a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th life.


Pump: Reuse around the home or contact us to arrange for them to be returned and recycled appropriately.


Delivery box: Simply place in the recycling bin – our shipping packaging is 100% recyclable.

Can I change my order? 

MAYBE. Just try to catch us before your order has shipped and we will do our best to fix it!

If your order has not been dispatched yet, we may be able to cancel/refund payment so you can place the correct order. Contact us here and we will do our best to help you.

Where can I find your store?

At this time our energy is focused on serving you through our online store. At this time we don't have a physical store, but we intend to in the near future.

In the meantime our founders welcome you to lunch at their home - You will find their beautiful home in the heart of Australia–Queensland Australia. Amongst the rainforest, just 10 minutes from the ocean. Arrange a visit here

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. If you wish to cancel your order, please email us ASAP and we will do everything to help you. Contact us here

If your order hasn’t been shipped we will be able to refund right away.

BUT if your goods have already been dispatched, you can refuse the delivery of the order which will then be returned to us. Once this has been returned to our warehouse, we'll give you a full refund minus the original postage cost.

I forgot to add a promotional code, can I still use add it?

We are unable to add promotional codes to orders once they have been placed. Should you wish to redeem an offer code, we can cancel the original order and the order will have to be placed again.

For all orders made in Australia and New Zealand over $50.00*(AUD), we provide complimentary standard tracked shipping of your order.

To apply free complementary shipping to your order please select “Free Shipping” in the shipping page of the checkout.

*Free shipping only will be provided when the total cost of order is over $75.00(AUD) after any discounts or promotions are provided.

Missing & Lost Parcels

As much as we don’t like it missing / lost parcels can unfortunately occur time to time, we strive to provide you with the best service and experience. So, if you believe your parcel is missing, please contact our friendly customer service team so that we can locate your parcel.

PLEASE NOTE: Prior to contacting our customer support team regarding a missing parcel, please track your parcel via the following link to Australia Post here.

If after tracking your parcel, there has been no luck in locating your parcel please contact us via the following address:

In the unlikely event that we cannot internally locate your missing parcel we will escalate it with Australia Post directly, we generally receive a response from Australia Posts support team within 2 - 5 business days. In the unlikely case that your parcel has been deemed lost in transit, we will send you out a replacement order ASAP.

International Taxes and Duty

If you are based outside Australia, please be aware that any additional taxes or duties applied by customs at the destination country are the responsibility of the delivery recipient.

Your local customs office will be able to assist you with any further information regarding taxes, duties and customs. We “Botanical Bay Australia Pty Ltd” are not responsible for any taxes or duties that are applied to your delivery in country of destination.

Also sadly we cannot provide tracking updates as this service does not provide this feature to you the customer.

We strongly suggest that all international orders made select "STANDARD SHIPPING" at checkout as this is a tracked service and we can provide you with FULL tracking information to provide you with full peace of mind.
